Teaching isn’t About Preaching — It’s about creating conditions for learning and this is how…

It’s about helping people create the right conditions for their brains to thrive.

When your (student’s) brain is in the right circumstances, it naturally absorbs knowledge—unstoppably so.

We educators must admit that a traditional classroom setting, where we preach to students, isn’t the ideal learning environment.

The number of times we have to correct students proves it:
‘Sit still. Face the board. I’m talking, be quiet. Take notes. Stop staring out the window.’
It’s a huge waste of time.

But it’s not about them not wanting to learn—I truly believe everyone wants to learn.
The issue is, many don’t want to learn what I want to teach them!

So, what circumstances do they need to start asking me the learning questions I can help facilitate?

Or even better: how can I empower them to create the ideal learning conditions for themselves?

That’s when forced education transforms into lifelong development.

For me, graduation shouldn’t merely mark the end of rote memorization—it should celebrate learners proving they can guide their own growth and thrive beyond structured education.

So, ask yourselves:

  • Are we achieving and enabling this?
  • Is your learning environment fostering this kind of growth?
  • Are you helping learners pass an exam—or become lifelong learners?
